The game uses a side-scrolling view with one-player progression through 8 stages. You select from Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, Kimberly, or Tommy and advance by defeating waves of enemies, jumping hazards, and clearing boss fights at the end of each level. Each character moves through punch, kick, jump, and special-attack actions, with combat focused on close-range timing and careful positioning.

Bosses are safest when you wait for their attack animation, punish once or twice, and back off. In narrow areas, clear one side first so you do not get trapped.
