The game uses a fixed 2D playfield with the action focused around the bottom of the screen. Players move left and right, aim upward, and shoot bubbles to connect matching colors. When three or more bubbles of the same color link together, they pop, and any unsupported bubbles above them can fall for extra points. Progress comes through clearing stages with different layouts, obstacles, and enemy patterns. Single-player focuses on stage clearing, while versus modes emphasize pressure and score attacks.
