The game uses a 2D side-scrolling run-and-gun format. Players move through linear stages, firing a default weapon and collecting power-ups for stronger firearms. Some environmental objects can be destroyed, opening lines of fire or clearing threats. Stages mix heavy enemy waves, platforming hazards, and boss encounters. Survival depends on constant movement, crouching, jumping, and learning enemy spawn patterns. Two-player co-op allows better coverage but requires spacing and coordination.

Keep moving and avoid lingering in the middle of the screen, where enemies can trap you from multiple angles. Try to reach bosses with upgraded firepower, since recovering after death is difficult. In co-op, cover different elevations and focus first on turrets and fast-spawning enemies.
