The game uses side-scrolling action-platforming. Kuros jumps across gaps, climbs through terrain, attacks enemies in close combat, and avoids traps while moving through interconnected stages. Treasure chests, hidden rooms, and collectible gold are scattered throughout the world; gold is used for supplies and other progression needs. The player must manage health and magic carefully, making use of both melee and limited ranged options. Progress is driven by exploration of five castles and surrounding areas, with keys, minibosses, and bosses gating advancement.

Kuros

The playable hero, an armored knight sent to rescue the kidnapped princess.

Malkil

The evil wizard and main antagonist behind the game's crisis.

Princess

The kidnapped princess Kuros must rescue.

Learn enemy attack patterns before rushing in, especially around narrow ledges and jumps. Search for hidden rooms and chests, since they often contain resources that make later areas much easier. Save gold and supplies for the tougher sections rather than spending them immediately. Against bosses, stay patient and punish predictable openings instead of trying to trade hits.
